The course is for safety education for seafarers in accordance with the provisions of the law and regulations. The structure and content of the course considers and meets the conditions set in section A-V/2 and table A-V/2 of the STCW code2, European directive3 and regulation4.
The course lasts two days and is taught via teleconferencing equipment that the student gets access to before the course begins, the student must be at a computer with a camera and sound. The aim of the course is for the student to gain knowledge in managing passengers in an emergency and to be able to organize emergency operations on board a passenger ship.
